Will you be anywhere near Savannah, Georgia this weekend? If so, you may want to check out the return of the Savannah Tattoo Festival kicking off this Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 9th. For the second year in a row, over 200 tattoo artists from around the country will be at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center showcasing their talent and creative work. The show will also have plenty of live music, lots of vendors, vehicles, murals, contests, and much more.
Speaking of contests, the popular pin-up contest will return, with the audience choosing the winner. Despite the presence of tattoos, event organizers have gone a long way to ensure that the event is family friendly. Families are welcome to visit any day, but Sunday may be the best day to visit. Kids will be able to participate in a temporary tattoo contest and win prizes.
For those interested in getting inked at the festival, an appointment will not be required. However, if you’re looking for something highly specific or wish to be inked by a certain artist, it may be a good idea to set some time aside. The entire list of artists as well as their contact information can be viewed on the official website at http://savannahtattoofest.com.
